Two Mile Hill Primary School Building Knowledge, Empowering All.

Welcome

There are three classes in Year Three: Ravens, Swifts and Buzzards.

In Year Three, we help children make the transition from KS1 into KS2 by supporting them in developing their independence. We aim to build on the skills that children have learned throughout KS1.

In terms 1 and 2 Year 3 will be learning all about the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and the Eqyptians. At the end of the unit, we will be creating a living museum full of amazing artifacts and voices from the past!

Reading is a big focus for us in Year Three, and we encourage children to read at home every day to help build on their fluency and comprehension skills. With the introduction of our revamped library, children can now take home books that they have borrowed so they should always have something interesting to be reading!
