  • Ofsted Inspection 28.3.2017

    Mon 27 Mar 2017 O Knowles
On Tuesday the 28th of March we will be visited by two inspectors from Ofsted. They will be here to judge the effectiveness of the work that we do. The letter and leaflet here explains the process and how you can have your say. We are very proud of your children and look forward to sharing the great work they do with the inspectors.
  • Our creative kitchen staff!

    Mon 20 Mar 2017
The Eden staff, who work in our kitchen, provide our children with tasty hot and cold meals every day. Recently they have been working hard to improve the presentation of the food and have received training in fruit and vegetable model making. Their creations are fantastic and adorn the salad bar every Friday. Take a look at the images and we're sure you will agree that they are pretty fantastic!
  • Walking to School

    Fri 17 Mar 2017 O Knowles
On Tuesday we had a visit from Strider, who came to the school to give a prize for the 'Walk to School' competition. The children were asked to take a photo of something they saw on their journey to school that they wouldn't have seen if they had come by car.  You can see the competition entries in the office area of our school. The winner was Lucas with his worm photo, and he won a family ticket to the SS Great Britain!!  Strider also went onto the playground at the end of the day, to give a high 5 to all the children who regularly walk to school or park and stride!
  • World Book Day Fun!

    Fri 03 Mar 2017 O Knowles

Wow! What a day! We had bears, lots of Goldilockses, porridge bowls, spoons, chairs, red riding hoods - you name it we had it!

Check out the pictures below to see some of the children in their amazing costumes.

Heather Butler, the author,  came in to talk to the children during assemblies about World Book Day. It was great to see so many pupils interested in buying a book written by Heather and having it signed by Heather herself after school yesterday.

Children were given a World Book Day voucher to receive a £1 discount off of a book, including any book from the Scholastic book catalogue that came out yesterday. Alternatively, your child can pick up a special £1 book with their voucher from all branches of Waterstones, WHSmith or Asda.
