Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Yesterday our Year 5 children enjoyed their weekly BMX session.
This is a great opportunity for the children to improve their confidence when cycling.
Ella has spent her time at home creating a clay response to her Mayan learning in school.
Have a look at it, I'm sure you'll be as impressed as me.
As part of their living museum, Year 3 have created foam stonehenge models.
Have a look below at the process the children have gone through.
In Eagles class last week, children created newspaper reports about a lost World War 2 medal. Amaan came to show Mr Knowles and shared his extraordinary writing.
Have a look for yourself.
Kabir shared his poems with me and I thought they should be shared with the world as they are excellent.
Eagle
Staring eyes,
Fish eater,
Dangerous claws,
Flying creature.
Fish
They can be eaten,
They’ve got flapping fins,
But now they’re dying.
Because of plastic and tins.
Panda
Love bamboo,
Chubby, white and black,
But now because of climate change,
Their food is going to crack.
Tortoise
Very slow animal,
Green as a leaf,
It would be
A terrible thief!

This week we have celebrated the work that our children created in poetry week.
On Tuesday we had our KS2 poetry slam and children performed incredibly well considering they were performing to over 300 people.
One outstanding performance came from Ahmad who wrote a poem about Climate Change.
Today we have celebrated KS1 poetry and each class performed poems about forests or our school. Children performed carefully and with a huge amount of pride.
