Health, Safety and Wellbeing Statement
Two Mile Hill Primary School is committed to providing a safe, healthy and supportive environment for all pupils, staff, contractors and visitors. We recognise our legal and moral duties under health and safety legislation and accept overall responsibility for ensuring that our premises and practices protect the welfare of everyone in our care.
We will:
• Maintain safe buildings, equipment and working conditions.
• Identify and manage risks through effective assessment and control measures.
• Provide appropriate training, information and supervision for all staff.
• Promote a culture that values physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Respond promptly to concerns, incidents and near misses, and review our procedures regularly.
The Trust, governing body and senior leadership team will ensure that adequate resources, monitoring and review systems are in place so that this commitment is upheld and continually improved.
All members of our school community are expected to follow safe working practices and contribute to a positive, respectful and responsible culture.
This statement will be reviewed annually.
