Welcome!
At the school we have a friendly and active PTA (Parent Teacher Association), who organise a wide range of activities and events during the year for everyone to enjoy. They are a volunteer group made up of staff and parents.
The day to day running of the PTA is in the hands of a committee which is elected at the PTA Annual General Meeting held in the first half of each Autumn Term.
The principle aim of the PTA is to organise fundraising and social events which strengthen the link between the wider school community.
This year we have held several events, such as Mother’s Day sale, Father’s Day sale, film nights and Books at Bedtime all of which were a great success. We also organise the Christmas and Summer Fayres to enable families and the wider community to enjoy what we have on offer.
In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities.
Recently, we have financially supported the school to organise two trips to the pantomime at the Bristol Hippodrome, enabling all pupils to go to the theatre, a logo school jumper for every new September reception class starter, money for each class teacher to buy a class Christmas gift and many others.
If you are a new parent at the school, volunteering for the PTA is a great way to get to know people and become part of the school community. There are many ways to play a part in the PTA and not all of them require significant amounts of time, from helping out at an event, wrapping lucky dip presents to joining the committee. All time offered (however big or small) would be greatly appreciated.

We also have a Facebook page where we advertise our upcoming events (Search Two Mile Hill Primary PTA Events & Information).
