There are three classes in Year Four, Razorbills, Starlings and Goldcrest.
In Year Four, we build on the skills and curriculum which has been taught in Year Three.
Over the next two terms we will be working on creating a short film about the Greeks and Romans in the style of ‘Horrible Histories’. During this time we will have the opportunity to learn, revisit and practice all the information listed below. We look forward to sharing our films with you at the end of term 2. If you have any questions, please ask.
Reading is a big focus for us in Year Four, and we encourage children to read at home every day to help build on their fluency and comprehension skills. With the introduction of our revamped library, children can now take home books that they have borrowed so they should always have something interesting to be reading! We also have a big push on times tables, by the end of Year Four children should know their times tables up to 12 x 12.
