There are 3 Year 2 classes, which are taught by Mrs Tesdale (Swans), Miss Clifford (Puffins) and Miss Harvey (Flamingoes). All three classes are situated in the lower school hall in the main building.

 

In Year Two, we encourage children to read regularly (little and often) at home with parents to help practise their skills and develop their confidence. Children must bring their book bags in every day. 

 

Year Two is also an important year as we prepare children for life in KS2. At the end of Year Two the children will have assessments in English and Maths. We will make sure that your children are well prepared and these cause them as little stress as possible.
