What can you do to support your child?

You may be wondering what you can do at home to help, so here are just a few suggestions for what you could be doing or encouraging your child to do independently.

  • Read every day and log this in their reading record, this can be independently or aloud to someone else
  • Practise times tables using ‘Times Tables Rockstars’, please ask about login details if you are unsure. This is a fun and interactive game that children can play alone.
  • Practise spellings using ‘spelling shed’, the spellings will be updated weekly and test will be completed online too.
