Homework is given out on a Thursday and should be handed in on the following Monday. The children will receive one piece of English and one piece of Maths, which need to be completed in their homework book.

 

Spellings are given out on a Monday, to be learnt during the week for a test on Fridays.

 

To continue your child’s learning a home, hearing them read regularly (three times a week) is strongly recommended.

 

Year five and six have been streamed for spelling/phonics. Their phonics teacher may give your child additional spellings to learn at home.
