  • A week of exciting visits!

    This week year 5 and year 2 have been learning outside the classroom. On Tuesday, Year 5 walked to Netham Lock where they caught a ferry to Underfall Yard. This was linked to their History topic on how the Victorians changed life in Britain. On Wednesday, Year 2 went across the River Severn to Cardiff where they spent a fascinating day at Cardiff Castle. In the next few weeks more trips will be taking place - the Roman Baths in Bath being one.
  • School Closure

    The school will be closed on Friday 2nd of March due to the bad weather. Visit the class blogs for some work to complete. We look forward to seeing you back in school on Monday 5th.
  • Hedge Planting

    This week we have had some new hedges and bushes planted in the conservation area. We now have red currants, black currants, goose berries, logan berries, hazel nuts and lots more. A big thank you Claire at The Conservation Volunteers for helping supply the plants and all their hard work constructing the path and all the planting.
  • World Book Day - 1.3.2018

    World Book day is on Thursday 1st March. This year's theme will be Little Red Riding Hood. Children are invited to dress up as a character from the story for example, the woodcutter, grandmother or a wolf!

    Exciting news! We are developing our conservation area to enhance outdoor learning opportunities. Over the next few months a path will laid, new gates installed and lots of plants introduced to make the most of this pocket of green space. First job - lay a path...
